We Offer
Investment Banking Committee Support An opportunity to work within Credit Suisse's Investment Banking and Capital Markets Risk and Controls Group (RCG) as an ENO/AVP supporting the Investment Banking Committee. RCG is a global group that helps to ensure the business is aligned with rules and regulations and Credit Suisse policies and procedures.
RCG is responsible for the operation and management of the Investment Banking Committee (IBC). The IBC performs a key control function within Credit Suisse's Investment Banking and Capital Markets division. IBC (a) reviews all offerings and engagements to ensure that the proposed business is (i) properly structured and executed, (ii) of a type that is appropriate for Credit Suisse as a leading global investment bank and (iii) on behalf of clients that Credit Suisse should sponsor and (b) reviews and approves opinions, valuations, and similar statements of the firm's professional views on which clients can reasonably be expected to rely. IBC must approve Credit Suisse's role before the firm makes any commitment, oral or written, to the client in connection with underwritings or placements of securities.
In addition, IBC serves as a platform for the firm's Transaction Risk Management controls framework, designed to handle the risk related to transaction execution.
