Tax Analyst: Tax Operations Analyst and Operations Analyst work to master department procedures and understand the front to back flow Identify key opportunities to improve efficiencies, tighten controls Engage in the Asset Servicing/Tax process and learn dependencies and interactions between each group in the process Engage in income processing, corporate actions, and tax withholding reporting events
Role Responsibilities: The Operations tax analyst will help to verify income and tax withholding to ensure accurate remittance of funds to the IRS and client. Process withholding adjustments as needed Facilitate client/business inquires and requests Work with business across Global Transaction Banking (GTB)and Corporate Investment Banking (CIB)to quality assurance (QA) data before payment/withholding/reporting Engage with the business, asset servicing, technology, audit, and operational leads to ensure requirements are being met Handle ad-hoc escalations and help communicate to management items for prioritization Ability to support cyclical workloads with time sensitive deliverables
