  • Establish and manage key performance metrics
  • Identify and implement best practices
  • Undertake projects to shorten closing cycles, reduce errors, and improve customer service levels
  • Produce value-added analyses

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 8-12 years' accounting experience. Big 4 plus public company financial reporting experience preferred.
  • CPA, CMA and/or MBA.
  • Strong technical US GAAP accounting knowledge, including revenue recognition and lease accounting
  • Knowledge of best practices in internal controls and financial reporting
  • Must be highly analytical and inquisitive with strong organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and ability to meet monthly deadlines and goals
  • Strong working knowledge Microsoft Office; proficient in Excel, Access, and Word
  • Knowledge of SAP, BPC and Business Objects a plus
  • Excellent organizational, managerial, interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other functional areas in a team-based, continuous improvement environment
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interpret and explain financial results and trends
  • Strong sense of customer service, continuous improvement, drive for results. Must be metrics driven. Leader versus Manager
  • Expected travel up to 5% in US and Canada. Weekend work as needed
  • Possesses strong leadership capability who is able to develop staff members, motivate teams, collaborate across departments and works well with senior leadership.
