**About Private Bank and its Alternative Investment Business**
Asset Wealth Management Operations is located in the Brooklyn Corporate Center in Brooklyn, NY. The group is made up of roughly 600 employees performing support functions for the Front and Middle Office groups located in Delaware, New York and Ohio. Functions in Investment Products Middle Office include Alternative Investments support, several brokerage trade support desks, Global Portfolio Implementation, and JPMorgan Securities servicing.
The Asset Wealth Management Alternative Investments business continues to be one of the fastest growing segments of the AWM. AWM global assets under management exceed $60 billion making us one of the largest Alternatives shops in the world. Hedge fund flows consistently surpass $1 billion per month and private equity deals raise several billion dollars in new commitments each year.
The Alternative Investment Middle Office plays a key role in supporting the business; our team focuses on projects, controls, and defect management. The Project Associate role centers on supporting and managing projects for various initiatives related to the Alternative Investment platform (i.e., process improvements, systems enhancements and application development/support). The role primarily involves testing trade applications and the corresponding workflows. Experience in the securities industry is required; experience related to Private Equity and/or Hedge Funds is preferred.
+ Responsible for testing trade application and the end to end work for both Private Equity and Hedge Fund orders
+ Track defects in JIRA; monitor and escalate when needed
+ Write (or amend) test scripts, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production checkouts
+ Assist team with administrative tasks surrounding the projects, defects, and reporting that we manage when needed
+ Provide business analyst support when needed
+ Participate in project meetings when needed
+ Work with business, technology, plan, and operation teams to complete enhancement requests
+ Communicate system updates to user groups
+ Undergraduate degree
+ Strong background in testing, defect management, and release management
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills
+ Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter, and have the ability to execute on assignments independently

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Minimum of 2 years experience in financial services
+ Strong Knowledge of Investment Products - particularly Alternative Investments but also including Equities, Fixed Income, Operations and Trade Flows
+ Brokerage Experience

+ Series 99 (Will be required to obtain within 120 days of hiring)
