You will use your knowledge and skills to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and manage internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Key responsibilities - Assemble monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives - Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary - Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors - Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner - Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP - Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Experience in SOX control execution/documentation - Ability to meet deadlines - Efficient in ERP systems - Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Prior work done in public accounting is desired - Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment - Accounts payable experience - Proven knowledge of US GAAP - Strong familiarity with P L Calculation - Experience with taxes - Command of accounts receivable - Payroll experience preferred - Skilled at time management - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - 5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast paced environment - Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
