As a Senior Accountant, you will be required to perform financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant role is with a company in the Real Estate field and is located in Calabasas, California. How you will make an impact - When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests - Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. - Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors - Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management - Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives - Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP - Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills - Current and relevant ERP system experience - Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills - Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required - Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued - Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines - Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment - SOX experience preferred - Trial balance experience required - Strong familiarity with financial statement preparation - Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger - Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the \"why\" - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - 3+ years of overall general accounting experience - Strong attention to detail - Strong time management skills preferred Please send resumes, in confidence, to [Click Here to Email Your Resum ]
