Manage revenues forecasting process and collaborate with Commercial Organization. Consolidate regional revenues forecasts and instrument units for global view to Sr. Management. Actively participate during QBR and MBR and provide timely communication and analysis. Partner with Business Intelligence Team and Product Management on revenues analysis and provide timely revenues reports (weekly sales reports and dashboard) to CSD.
The successful Sr. Financial Analyst will provide revenues and portfolio analysis to Clinical Next Generation Sequencing Division. He/she will be the lead business partner during revenues forecast and reporting process. Key competencies for this job include intellectual curiosity and excellent communication with all levels in the organization. This role will report directly into Sr. Finance Manager and support VP of Product Management, Marketing, and Sales. This role could be based in either South San Francisco or Carlsbad, CA.
OPEX Analysis: Support marketing and sales budget to business partners and provide spend transparency and future indicators of risk/opportunities. Monitor and communicate progress toward achievement of financial objectives with CSD Finance Team; identify trends driving positive and negative variances to Plan.
Other: Analyze and monitor financial impacts of major new product initiatives through NPV analysis and financial modeling. Provide new product revenues post-launch analysis (PV2) compared to original NPV and work with product managers to identify risks and opportunities. Initiate and lead financial improvement processes to drive efficiency. Experience with Siebel a plus Business modeling and forecasting, including understanding of pricing models, sales trends, financial statements and financial system structures
