Our downtown Nashville based client, a rapidly growing financial services company, is looking to add a Staff Accountant Financial Reporting & Project Coordinator to their growing team.
The Staff will work with the Financial Reporting and Accounting teams and be responsible for/assist with the following:
-Preparing/recreating work papers
-Drafting/circulating financial statements
-Coordinating and following-up with internal parties including board committees and the external auditors
-Some general accounting
-Managing the SEC reporting platform
Desired Skills and Experience:
-Accounting degree (GPA must be 3.0 or higher), CPA eligible and pursuing preferred
-0-2 years of applicable full-time experience (internships at a minimum required)
-Candidate must be extremely organized and detail oriented
-Candidate must possess strong communication skills and a positive attitude
-Candidate must be willing to wear multiple hats and pitch-in in several areas
